There’s an important message being sent to us conservatives. McCain danced around the idea of a pro-choice veep and he heard our pleas. I expected McCain to thumb his nose at us and do as he pleased but he proved me wrong by doing the exact opposite. The fact is that he is listening to what we have to say. Not only did he pick a pro-life veep, he picked an impressive woman with solid conservative credentials all around the table. The veep doesn’t usually affect the election but you can guarantee this is not the case this year. I’ve been very weary of a McCain presidency but because of this significant decision I am ready to vote for McCain.

I am ecstatic about McCain’s VP pick. This is a conservative power duo which will further unify conservatives around this country. I was pretty worried that he was going to go the “safe” route and pick Lieberman or even worse pick the rich dude (Romney). Remember we live in a country where people are punished for being successful so two rich dudes running for office = not a good idea.
And on that note, some people (liberals cough cough) seem to forget that, as short as the experience may be, Palin is the only one in this race with actual executive experience.
It is to be expected from liberals to come out and whine about his VP choice but I think it’s pretty cheap to reduce Palin to just a mere woman. Dismissing her credentials (pulling the gender card) is as sexist as you can get, if you ask me. Why isn’t anyone talking about Hillary’s credentials before she became Senator? NONE. Zip. Zero.
