Good Lord

jeffmiller:

I was expecting something else.

I was expecting something down the middle. An appeal to independents. An appeal to moderation.

Instead, it was the most radical, frightening convention speech I’ve seen by a nominated candidate.

Obama is not, it is now more clear than ever, a Bill Clinton kind of Democrat.

Remember in 1992, when Buchanan announced that we are in a culture war? Obama has just announced that we are in a class war.

This speech has knocked me off of my pedestal of indifference. I may vote for Barr, but I’ll root for McCain.

I was not expecting this.

I feel ill.

Exactly how I feel. The Obama campaign fails to realize that they have Obamaniacs way deep in their pockets. There is absolutely no need to reinforce what is already a fervent obsession with him. I don’t think there’s really anything Obama could do at this point to turn away his supporters. No scandal in this world could do that.

If I ever had a doubt in my mind that Obama was a radical, he just confirmed it for me.

Alright Democrats, you had your fun. Now it’s time for the RNC to kick some ass. I’m excited!
