During intense debate, male Senator tells female Representative to “act like a lady”
See, I had to write that in such vague terms because party affiliation can make all the difference in this. I suspect the reaction to this from feminist circles will be timid when it’s directed at her. I hope not. And I hope this dude gets the criticism he deserves for uttering such a stupid thing during a political debate.
Seriously, what does “acting like a lady” during a debate even mean? Tilting your head down, shutting up and listening to what the big, smart man is telling you?
