Driving to Old San Juan tomorrow, and hopefully checking out the rainforest! Most roads here don’t seem to have names or signs, which makes navigating interesting. All the directions we’ve gotten have been in relation to restaurants. We’re staying on the beach five minutes south of Chicho’s Bar in Rincon if anyone wants to join us for a cigar. — david
I can definitely attest to this. People don’t really follow the whole north, south thing, instead all directions are relative to places. “Ok when you see the big Guayaba tree, you’re gonna see Ferreteria Martinez right in front of it. There you take a right, keep going and make a left when you can’t go any further!” I wonder if I could still move around if I went back.
