I use this progam to write. It’s a useful tool for forgetting the fact that you’re on a computer when you’re writing. Kind of like when you’re reading a book, after a while you forget the book is there and you’re just reading a story. — rickyv

I guess they’re trying to emulate what one feels on a typewriter. I HATE using a word processor to do actual writing. I’ll write some forced school paper or some other mundane thing, but I cannot for the life of me actually write on a computer. It just feels so fake. I’ve been thinking about getting a typewriter for a while. Not one of those tacky 80’s IBM ones but a Faulknerish old typewriter, where every loud stroke immerses the writer more and more into a world of his/her own.
