Don’t ever read YouTube comments. EVER. These disgusting comments were left on a video uploaded by Disney’s YouTube channel DisneyParks (one of my favorite YouTube channels, btw). The video features a beautiful family running around the Magic Kingdom having the time of their lives. This right here is what real racism looks like. It’s alive and it’s out there. And this right here is why casually throwing around the race card is a terrible thing to do. It gives cover to assholes like these and cheapens the effect of accusing someone of being a racist. When everyone’s a racist, nobody’s a racist. I want to reply to these comments so bad but engaging online racist trolls is a useless thing to do. But think of it, these people live among us. They eat, they shop, they work, they go out around us. And when they fire up their computers, they troll around the web letting their true selves shine through. UPDATE: Seems that Disney removed the comments.
