A few Lightnin’ Hopkins selections
If Blind Lemon Jefferson is the king of Texas blues, Lightnin’ Hopkins is the not too distant heir to the throne. In fact, Jefferson took a young Hopkins under his wing shortly after they met at a church picnic. Without Hopkins, we would’ve never had a Jimi Hendrix or a Stevie Ray Vaughan.
