Leave it to Keith Olbermann to keep it classy and tactful. Tonight on his increasingly irrelevant show (being consistently demolished in ratings by both Beck and O’Reilly), he went after private citizen, Michael P. Leahy. Michael is just a regular guy with an interest in politics and his government. I’ve been following him for a while on Twitter even before he started the now famous Top Conservatives on Twitter. That’s where the #tcot hashtag came from, which is now the most popular hashtag on Twitter.

With all that momentum after the success of #tcot, he went on to become one of the many Tea Party organizers. Needless to say, the Tea Party was an astounding success, so it’s no surprise that dear Keith is still hung up about it.

Had it not been for a post Michael wrote on his blog, I would have never found out about the smear merchant’s new low. Like I said to Michael in a tweet, he should consider it an honor to get smeared by MSNBC’s resident petty ideologue (so many to choose from!). To annoy hatemongers signifies one is doing something definitely right.
