– talking to you is like talking to long division
Well, I wasn’t really referring to its cinematic value. I reserve this kind of judgment for actual films. I can see, however, how someone with a keen interest in cinema could judge it by that angle. Mr. John McCain’s story is a...
Fun fact I just learned about NY.
Little kids go trick-or-treating at restaurants and stores more than they do actual apartment buildings. There is serious cuteness overload everywhere you look right now.
Push past the historic candidacy, however, and one sees something even larger at...

WTF HAPPENED TO PRIDE?

Seriously. Since when did Americans want to be rescued? Since when do they hold their hands out, happily taking whatever is given to them?
What she said.
American pride has been replaced with American guilt and American jealousy, where success is shameful and personal wealth a disgrace.
You’re supposed to feel bad for everything you ever...
I am still in tears from laughing so hard!
Ok, so maybe this is a little cruel but come on, it’s FUNNY. God bless her heart, and hey, maybe she’ll lock her doors from now on.

Today’s actually my 1 year Tumblr anniversary! hahaha
This was my first post. It’s crazy how time goes by so fast, eh?
And I actually got on Tumblr because of Jakob Lodwick. I used to read his stuff way back when he had his blumpy.org blog. Gee, it...

A testing company is recruiting New Yorkers to spend three days in the land of red wine and romance for a study on the effects of jet lag.
The only catch is the human guinea pigs don’t get to see the sights of Paris, and the closest they’ll come to a date is dinner with other study participants.

Two more celebrity sightings today!
Now that I live in New York I probably should get used to seeing celebrities just walking around. But I think I’ll always get star-struck the moment I recognize someone from TV or a movie.
Earlier today in my neighborhood I saw Michael Showalter walking down Court St. near the Barnes & Noble just minding his own business. And then later, on Myrtle Ave. & Clermont Ave, I walked...

So Jason Segel will be hosting SNL on November 15th and Flight of the Conchords will be the musical guest. Too bad I don’t have tickets for the November 22nd taping. Bill Murray will be the host! Can you imagine that? Seeing Bill Murray live? Ooof. I might just try to get stand-by tickets for that one.
UPDATE: The host was actually Paul Rudd and the musical guest Beyoncé. It was a great show!
This is hilarious.
I love that SNL is trying to be a bit more balanced. Equal opportunity haters are always funnier.
This gets me excited about November 15!

Among the troubled firms on the agency’s list are such household names as clothing retailer Eddie Bauer, amusement park operator Six Flags and pizza chain Sbarro. Also on the list are doughnut baker Krispy Kreme and mobile technology titan Palm, as well as a number of the nation’s largest airlines, including JetBlue and the corporate parents of United and American.

Who just won tickets to a live SNL taping?
I did!
I just got an email from NBC confirming 2 tickets for November 15th. I entered the ticket lottery back in August and had completely forgotten about it.
This is kind of a big deal for me! Excited!
